OKC Police Seek Man Who Robbed Convenience Store At Gunpoint

An Oklahoma City convenience store was robbed at gunpoint late Sunday night and the suspect is on the run.

An Oklahoma City convenience store was robbed at gunpoint late Sunday night and the suspect is on the run.

Oklahoma City police released more information on this robbery overnight as they search for the suspect. The armed robbery occurred around 10 p.m. at the Western Food Mart on Western and Hefner.

According to a police report, witnesses saw a man enter the store with a handgun. He was dressed in all black and had a ski-mask on.

Witnesses also said the suspect jumped over the counter and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the suspect left the store with cash in hand.
Police said he then left the area in an older model white sedan. The suspect's direction of travel is unclear. 

The suspect is described as an adult black male, approximately 5'08" tall, with a slim build, and wearing all black.
