Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks Up For Entertainer Of The Year In ACM Awards This Sunday

CBS is airing the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday and native Oklahoman Garth Brooks and adopted Oklahoman Miranda Lambert are up for entertainer of the year.

Lambert's husband (and native Oklahoman) Blake Shelton is hosting alongside Luke Bryan this Sunday at 7 p.m. ET, Live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Top nomination categories include: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Album of the Year, Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year.

The best in country music will be honored while the industry's newest talent gets introduced to a super-sized arena of fans, artists, press and industry professionals.

This weekend's event marks the 50th annual ACM awards show.
