Former Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha was arrested on Wednesday morning at a New York City nightclub following a stabbing incident involving Indiana Pacers' forward Chris Copeland.

According to police, Copeland was attacked by 22-year-old Shezoy Bleary outside of 1Oak Club in Manhattan. Police took Bleary into custody and charges are pending.

Now a member of the Atlanta Hawks, Sefolosha and teammate Pero Antic were charged with obstructing governmental authority and disorderly conduct after police say the players blocked officers from attempting to begin their investigation. Lawyers for Sefolosha and Antic expect the charges to be dismissed.

The Hawks were in town to face the Brooklyn Nets, while the Pacers play the Knicks on Wednesday night.
