Police Investigate Threat Against Blanchard High School

Authorities in Blanchard are planning to step up security at schools on Thursday following a threat.

Blanchard police broke the news to the public on Facebook Wednesday,

“There has been a threatening note found at the high school. At this time we are not releasing the details about the content, due to the ongoing investigation. There will be a large presence of Law Enforcement at the high school tomorrow and until the investigation is complete.”

The police department said the threat was specifically made to the high school, but security will be beefed up at all campuses.

A note was sent home to parents by the principal on Wednesday.
