Fourth Victim Found In Case Against Tuttle Man Charged With Kidnapping, Torture, and Rape
TUTTLE, Oklahoma - A Tuttle man is charged with the kidnapping, torture, and abuse of three women at separate times over a two year span.
“I've spoken with the guy responsible and I've shaken his hand. This kind of comes as a surprise,” said Shawn Dolan, neighbor.
Shawn Dolan lives across the street from a man investigators say is capable of rape, torture, and kidnapping.
Court documents said Gregory Zavala lured a 16-year-old girl to his home in the Spring of 2011.
She told investigators "Zavala forced [her] to have sexual relations against her will on an almost daily basis".
And told them, Zavala threatened to kill her and her family if she ever escaped.
It's unclear how long she was held captive at his home before she escaped.
The documents said, the next victim was taken January 2012 and kept there for eight months.
The then 17-year-old told investigators, Zavala would use "physical force" to keep her there saying "the only way she'd leave was in a body bag".
Investigators said Zavala's third victim was taken in October 2012.
They say she told investigators at first they were dating, but shortly after moving in she was held captive.
Like the others court documents say, Zavala beat and raped her sometimes to the point of unconsciousness.
“I don't even know what to say. You know you talk to somebody and you think their normal and it's clear that it's capable of being something else,” said Dolan.
Wednesday afternoon, a fourth victim was identified. She'd been missing for several days and was reportedly last seen with Zavala. Newcastle Police found her Wednesday morning.
