OKLAHOMA CITY -

Spring officially arrived on the calendar at 5:45 p.m. Friday and we have a Spring-like forecast coming up. Friday evening we'll continue to see the clouds across the area but on the dry side. Winds will remain light and temperatures will slowly fall into the 50's Friday evening. So if you have plans Friday evening, you can expect no weather complications.

As we head into the weekend, a storm system drops inches of rain across Texas. For us it will bring some mid- to high-level clouds from time to time but the rain looks to stay south of the Oklahoma City area. So you can expect a mixture of sun and clouds on Saturday with highs under light winds in the lower 70's. On Sunday there could be a shower across southern Oklahoma. Otherwise the clouds will start to decrease by the afternoon. Highs across the state will again be in the 70's.

Early next week the south winds increase ahead of a storm system that could bring us some strong storms late Tuesday into Wednesday. Before then it looks warm with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 70's Monday and Tuesday.
