POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Oklahoma - First responders were called to the scene of a crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 40, just west of Shawnee, Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called out to the three-vehicle crash, at mile marker 173, just after 3:30 p.m.

It is unclear how the crash occurred or if anyone has been injured at this time. The crash initially caused a blockage of all lanes. The road has since been re-opened, but traffic is still moving slow in the area.
