Another round of winter storm is making its way across Oklahoma on Friday, and it's already beginning to impact road conditions in parts of the state.

Several counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m., including Oklahoma County, Logan County, and more. See a complete list here.

According to the National Weather Service in Norman, accumulating snowfall will continue across northern oklahoma with snow developing through noon across portions of the Oklahoma City metro and central Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, snow continues to fall in the panhandle and accumulate on the roadways. Snow is starting to impact roadways in northwestern, southwestern and southeastern Oklahoma. Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews in Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Harper, Jackson, Harmon, Caddo, Comanche, Marshall and Bryan counties are out treating roadways due to slick and hazardous conditions.

Check road conditions here.

Crews also are out treating portions of western I-40 and have started treating bridges and slick spots in Woodward, Ellis, Tillman, Custer, Kiowa, Harmon, Greer, Beckham and Rogers Mills counties. Other northwestern and southwestern county crews are monitoring roadways as light snowfall begins in those areas.

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in these areas and to stay at least 200 feet behind snow plows. Caution is especially warranted on bridges, overpasses and ramps as temperatures continue to fall and more precipitation moves into these areas.

ODOT crews statewide are monitoring conditions as winter weather is predicted to move into more areas of the state by this afternoon. Crews are ready to plow and/or apply sand and salt to interstate and highway bridges and roadways as conditions warrant.

If drivers must travel out of state, they are urged to check area road conditions before heading out.
