A small earthquake shook up residents near Medford, in Grant County, early Tuesday afternoon.
The 3.3 magnitude quake struck at approximately 12:30 p.m., 12 miles south southeast of Medford, or about 76 miles north of the Oklahoma City metro, at a depth of just under two miles.
The epicenter of the quake is actually located in neighboring Garfield County.
No damage or injuries have been reported with this earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with earthquakes at magnitudes of 4.0 and higher.
