CANADIAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Canadian County Sheriff's Department said it just ended a brief chase with a suspect near S.W. 15th and Sara Road in Yukon.

According to Canadian Co. Undersheriff Chris West, a deputy tried to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation and the suspect fled.

The suspect reportedly crashed and bailed out of the vehicle at the intersection and authorities are now searching the area.

The only description available for the suspect was a white male with dark hair, according to West.

A K9 unit was deployed to help authorities search for the suspect. Also, Oklahoma City Police set up a perimeter and sent out a chopper to help track down the suspect.

But according to the Canadian Co. Undersheriff, as of Sunday morning the suspect has not been caught and the search has been terminated.
