It was a nice sun filled day across the state with some cool temperatures in the 40s. Thursday evening, temperatures will cool into the 30s under mostly clear skies & light wind. Overnight temperatures will eventually fall into the upper 20s to low 30s.
For Friday, temperatures will be warmer despite a north wind picking up by mid to late afternoon out of the north. Highs will range from the upper 50s northeast to upper 60s southwest. Skies will remain mostly sunny through the day with just some passing high level clouds.
Over the weekend, Saturday will be mild with plenty of sunshine & highs in the 60s and 70s to the south. A strong cold front arrives late in the day that will bring the start of our colder weather.
On Sunday, expect plenty of clouds as north winds continue to funnel in colder temperatures. Highs will only reach into the 30s with a chance of some light wintry precipitation by late afternoon and evening.
More rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet possible by Monday and Tuesday as the cold weather continues.
