OKLAHOMA CITY -

A bizarre series of events Saturday morning; a short traffic chase ends with firefighters called out to a gas leak.

The chase started at 23rd and Classen and ended at McKinley and Park. That's where the suspect bailed out of his car and started running.

A K-9 officer eventually caught up with him and the suspect had to be taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, police said the suspect's car rolled into the unoccupied police cruiser, sending the cruiser into a gas meter.

Firefighters and OGE had to be called out to dead with the meter.
