Sunny And Warm; High Fire Danger In Oklahoma Wednesday

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

It's mildly cool this morning with much of the state in the 40s and 50s. Skies are clear and winds are light this morning as well.

Later, it will be sunny, warm and windy with an afternoon high near 80 degrees. Skies remain sunny and winds pickup out of the SW 15-25 mph.

With the gusty winds and low humidity today, the wild fire danger is very high. So please be careful with cigarettes and open flames. Any fires that do start will have the potential to get out of hand.

Tonight, it will be mild early evening with overnight lows near 46 degrees. Cooler tomorrow with a chance for rain or snow coming this weekend.
