OKLAHOMA CITY - A fire at the Redbud Landing Apartments in Oklahoma City, forced several people out of their units early Monday morning.

The complex is located on Tinker Diagonal Street south of Interstate 40. People who live on the second floor called 911 around 3 a.m. saying one of the units below them was filling up with smoke.

They rushed out in cold temperatures just as Oklahoma City fire crews arrived. Firefighters said the fire was contained to just one unit, which appears to be empty.

No one was displaced. There is some minor smoke damage to other units. Investigators will come to the scene later Monday morning to try to figure out a cause.
