OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police are looking for a suspect who broke into a convenience store and stole a large amount of cigarettes.

According to police, at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a loud alarm at Capital Square Station convenience store, located at 950 N.E. 23rd Street.

Police said the burglar had broken the front window of the store to gain entry.  The entire incident was captured by the store's surveillance camera. In the video, a male suspect can be seen breaking the glass with a crowbar. He then entered the store and went to the cigarettes section behind the counter.

Police said the suspect took a large amount of cigarettes and placed them in a bag. He then looked inside the registers, but they were empty. The suspect then ran out of the store.

The suspect is described as a black male with an average build. He had possibly dread lock hair and was wearing a black hoodie with a green hood, jeans and sneakers.

Police released that surveillance video on Friday. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
