An earthquake shook up residents near Oklahoma's state line in the town of Caldwell, KS., Thursday night.

The 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Its epicenter was located three miles northwest of Caldwell, 33 miles west of Arkansas City, and about 110 miles north of the metro.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this earthquake.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
