It's only mid-January and we're already talking about highs in the 70s!
Despite Saturday's front and strong northwest wind, it warmed up quite quickly during the day.
Sunday, will have a warmer wind from the southwest and that'll take those highs into the 70s for some folks. Fire danger will be exceptionally high Sunday afternoon with the warm temps, high wind, and low humidity.
Another mild day is expected Monday, but winds will be much lighter.
Looking ahead, another front will move in early Tuesday, dropping those highs back into the mid 50s. It'll cool down even more Wednesday and Thursday as highs drop into the upper 40s. There will also be a possibility of some light wintry precipitation possible late Wednesday into Thursday.
The state of Oklahoma will moderate back into the mid and upper 50s next weekend before more cold air shows up in about a week's time. It is still January, after all.
