OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police are looking for two men responsible for an armed robbery at a GameStop store in southwest Oklahoma City.

It happened just after 10 a.m. Monday morning, while both workers and customers were inside.

Edna Sanders and Shannon Stuart are regular customers at this GameStop at SW 3rd and Macarthur. Stuart says she was actually planning to come to the store the Monday morning it was robbed to buy a birthday gift.

“It's getting very, very scary out here,” said Stuart.

Sanders says she's surprised she wasn't here that morning.

“And I would have probably brought my nephew with me, because he's the one that's into the games,” said Sanders.

On Wednesday police released surveillance video from inside the store. You can see the first suspect orders the customers and workers there down on the ground as he walks up to the counter with a gun.

You can then see his accomplice come up from behind carrying both a bag and a backpack which he uses to steal several tablets, gaming units and headphones; this while his gun-wielding partner points his weapon at every person in the store.

He even goes behind the counter and forced the workers to open up the registers, and hand over all the cash. Although their faces are covered, as they were leaving they began to lift their masks, not realizing they were right in front of a camera.

“Although you don't get a full look at their face, you get a partial look at their face,” said MSgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City police department. “Hopefully somebody out there will recognize them.”

News 9 spoke to a worker and customer, both who were inside the store during the robbery, by phone Wednesday afternoon. They were too scared to appear on camera. Especially since the robbers are still on the loose.

But the customer did send this message by text saying "we are blessed to have survived this" and "we sincerely hope the police catch these robbers".

If you have any information you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
