GUTHRIE, Oklahoma - There are 26 regular classrooms at Fogarty Elementary in Guthrie and five of those classrooms currently have inoperable heaters, according to school officials.

Officials said a contractor is working for a quick solution to the issue after administrators began that process last week.

"We will keep classroom doors open and use fans to transfer the air from heated spaces to those currently lacking heat, " Dr. Mike Simpson, Superintendent of Guthrie Public Schools told News 9.
