This weekend's weather? Tremendous! After that? Let's just say Oklahoma's extreme temperature swings will be in full force starting Tuesday morning. Read on.

As I said, this weekend's temperatures will be lovely. Lower 60s today. Winds will weaken as the day goes along. Lows will drop into the upper 30s tonight. Highs Sunday will rise back into the upper 60s with a return to south winds. Monday will be the warmest day for a while. Mid 70s with very strong south winds ahead of the Arctic front moving in Monday night.

Tuesday morning, temperatures will plummet quickly accompanied by strong north winds. Highs will only reach the mid 40s Tuesday afternoon, but it will feel much colder with the north winds. Beyond Tuesday, highs will drop more each day. Lower 40s on Wednesday.

Highs will drop into the 30s by Thursday into Friday and the weekend. By then, we'll also have to start talking about the possibility of light wintry precipitation. Thursday and Friday will have opportunities, but they'll be very slight. By Saturday and Sunday, a stronger disturbance may move through Oklahoma and produce a mix of precipitation. It will depend on timing of the storm and how cold the temps are, but the possibility is there. Amounts look light right now. Stay tuned!
