OKLAHOMA CITY - Emergency crews responded to a hit-and-run crash near a car wash at 5100 S. Pennsylvania Avenue Friday.

A 3-year-old was hit by the bumper of a truck and was taken to the hospital. Authorities said the child is expected to make a full recovery.

The driver involved in the crash is still on the loose. Authorities said they are searching for a younger Hispanic male, wearing a red shirt, driving a white Chevrolet extended cab truck. He left the scene after being involved in the crash.

Antonio Moreno was a witness to the accident. "I don't understand how ... You know you just hit a child and you're going to drive off?"
