NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Norman police asked for the public's help in solving a double homicide dating back two decades. On October 18, 1994, authorities responded to a 911 report of two dead people at an apartment on the 4100 block of Heritage Place Drive in Norman.

Eric Anthony Davis, 20, and Jackie Lynn Smith, 23, were both found dead as a result of gunshot wounds to the head. Davis was a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma and Smith was a friend visiting from Oklahoma City, according to Norman police.

Investigators with the Norman Police Department said they have followed up on numerous leads since the murders.

They believe the case can be solved with the public's help.

Anyone with information can called Norman police at (405) 321-1600 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (405) 366-STOP.
