OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police arrested a woman who is accused of throwing bleach at another woman and her young daughter.

According to police, at about 7 p.m. on Monday, September 15, officers responded to the report of an assault at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of N.E. Grand Blvd.

The victim told police she was sitting on top of a utility box with her daughter, who is under 7 years old, when the suspect, 31-year-old Sherah Simmons, got out of her car and walked up to them. The victim said she knew Simmons, and that Simmons was upset with her.

Simmons reportedly said to the victim, “F*** you and your daughter, b****.” She then threw a cup containing bleach at the victim and her daughter before she left the scene in her car.

The bleach got all over the victim's face and body. Police said the victim had bloodshot watery eyes due to the bleach.

The bleach also got on the victim's daughter's glasses and clothes.

Officers were able to locate Simmons and take her into custody.
