Funnel Spotted In Creek County Monday Afternoon

Several people from Tulsa and Creek counties report spotting a funnel Monday afternoon as scattered storms continue to move through Green Country.

News On 6 WARN Team Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer called the funnel a "brief flare." He notes that we are not under any severe weather warnings at this time.

The funnel did not touch down but was part of an active weather pattern. Slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and some hail are moving through the area.

Central Creek County, eastern Pawnee County and western Tulsa County are under an urban and small stream flood advisory until 7:45 p.m.
