One Injured After Fire At NW Oklahoma City Apartment

OKLAHOMA CITY -

One person was injured in an apartment fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to battle the blaze at a complex located in the 2300 block of N. Meridian Ave. right around 8:30 a.m.

Crews on scene reported seeing moderate smoke coming from a bottom floor apartment unit. EMSA was called to transport one fire victim. The severity of that person's injury is not known.

Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze before 9 a.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
