MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -

Midwest City Police are conducting a homicide investigation into the deaths of two people who were found inside a home early Saturday morning.

Midwest City Police and firefighters were called to a house fire in the 1400 block of Maple Dr. on Saturday when the bodies of a male and female, both in their 30s, were discovered.

Investigators say evidence at the scene made it clear that the deaths were suspicious.

The state medical examiner is still investigating the cause and manner of death. Neither victim has been identified at this time.

"A tremendous amount of manpower has been dedicated to this case since the inception," MWC Police Chief Brandon Clabes said.  "If anyone has information that would assist in this investigation, I encourage them to contact our agency at 739-1306."
