Gas prices shot up about 40 cents a gallon this spring but some relief could be in sight.

Millions of Americans will hit the roads this holiday weekend.

Oklahomans will pay on average of $3.41 a gallon for regular unleaded, that's about 14 cents cheaper than the national average.

Gas prices usually go up this time of year as refineries undergo routine maintenance, but experts say cheaper fills are coming.

Patrick DeHaan, with, said, "Right now we're in kind of a limbo. Prices nationally may actually inch up for the next week or two, then by the beginning of June, perhaps into mid-June, we should more relief arriving."
