Scary moments for one family after a car crashes into their house in northwest Oklahoma City following a police chase overnight.

A young woman and her 3-year-old sister were inside their home just as a car came crashing through in the middle of the night, missing them by just feet.

"I was sitting in my room and a sudden like loud noise came through," said K.C. Clark.

It was a night to remember as Clark was getting ready for bed, when she heard a big boom.

"I ran out here and saw the pole on the ground, and when I came around the corner, I saw the car," said Clark.

There was a car inside her house. The driver ran away.

"I was more shocked than scared," said Clark.

The Village Police say a male and a female suspect were inside a white Ford Crown Victoria that was parked by a nearby school around 1 a.m. When the suspects saw police, they took off.

Officers chased them to a neighborhood on 104th St. when the driver lost control and slammed right into Clark's home as her 3-year-old sister was sleeping. Hours later, the girls' father is still stunned.

"It was a crazy incident to come home and see a car parked into my room," said the father, Terrence Owens.

Owens was away during the crash, headed home from a fishing trip. He says he frantically approached his house of 15 years thinking his daughters were hurt.

"With an incident like this, it could've easily been the front part of the house where they were sleeping," said Owens.

Ironically, Owens says he typically parks his van in the very spot where the suspect hit a light pole, missed their basketball goal and a big tree on his way inside the home.

"God works in mysterious ways and that seemed to be a mysterious way, and I'm thankful that he hit my empty room instead of the room that was occupied right next to it," said Owens.

The hole in the house is now boarded up and the family expects to have the rest of the damage inside and outside the home cleaned up this week. Inside Owen's room, his dresser, TV's, bed-set and walls were damaged.

Their next door neighbor's home was also damaged by the car.

Police are still trying to find the suspects and say officers found some identification inside the car, which may help them make an arrest.
