4 Teenagers Suspected In Fire At Former Guthrie School

Four teenagers suspected of setting the former Banner Elementary School in Guthrie on fire are in custody, Friday night.

Four teenagers suspected of setting the former Banner Elementary School in Guthrie on fire are in custody, Friday night.

The fire at the old Banner Elementary School was first reported just before 4 a.m. by neighbors in the area of W. Warner Avenue and N. 11th Street. That's just west of downtown Guthrie.

The Guthrie Fire Chief says the teens are also accused of breaking into Cotteral Elementary just before the fire.

Guthrie, Oak Creek, Edmond, Crescent and Woodcrest Fire Departments all responded to the scene to battle this blaze. No one was injured in the fire.

No other information has been released at this time.
