Fire Burns Up Outbuilding In Edmond

At least two people had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a detached garage next to a home near Coffee Creek Rd. and Western Ave. in Edmond, Saturday afternoon.

Fire crews from Oak Cliff, Deer Creek and Edmond were called out to battle the blaze.

The fire started in the detached garage and then spread to the grass outside. Investigators are still trying to figure out how it started.

No one was seriously injured in the fire. A damage estimate is not known at this time.
