Police Seek Suspect In NW OKC Dollar General Robbery

Police need the public's help in capturing a robbery suspect.

On Sunday, March 23, a man walked into the Dollar General Store at 6901 N.W. 10th Street and reached over the counter, grabbed cash from a safe and then fled the store.

According to a police report, the store clerk said she was placing her till in the safe located in the front of the store when the suspect came up behind her and grabbed the money. Police say he got away with $175.00.

The incident was captured on surveillance video. Police describe the suspect as a white man with a full brown beard, approximately 5'9" and weighing about 150 pounds. He was around 30 years of age, wearing a gray shirt with blue writing on the back, a black knit cap with white lettering on the front and blue jeans.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
