By Paul Crockett,

TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Deputy appears to be the victim of a road rage incident. The incident took place while he was on duty and driving his fully marked patrol unit.

The arrest and booking report for 50-year-old Robert Andrew Osburn states the incident started late Friday night when Deputy Paul Huss took the Gilcrease exit off of westbound Highway 64. The report says Osburn pulled up next to Deputy Huss at a traffic light and told the deputy that he had run Osburn off the road.

The deputy tried to explain how Osburn could file a complaint, but Osburn rammed the deputy's patrol unit as he pulled onto Gilcrease when the light turned green.

The report says Osburn rammed the patrol unit again after Deputy Huss got out of the vehicle. Osburn was eventually subdued after his vehicle's window was broken out and he was hit with pepper spray.

According to the report, Osburn smelled of alcohol with a breath test yielding a blood alcohol level of .22.

Osburn was booked into the David L. Moss Center on complaints of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated DUI, Resisting Arrest and two outstanding municipal warrants.

The Tulsa man is being held on bonds totaling $12,608.
