An earthquake shook up residents near the town of Medford in northern Oklahoma, Wednesday afternoon.

The 3.3 magnitude temblor struck around 5:15 p.m., eight miles south southwest of Medford, Okla., or about 84 miles north of the OKC metro area, at a depth of just over two miles.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage with this earthquake.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
