Turner Turnpike Near Chandler Reopens Following Crane Collapse

CHANDLER, Oklahoma -

Turner Turnpike near Chandler, Oklahoma, was shut down for about 15 minutes as emergency crews responded to a crane collapse Saturday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at about 9 a.m., a crane collapsed at mile marker 173 on the Turner Turnpike.

Emergency crews at the scene were able to use another crane to remove the one that collapsed.

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the turnpike were shut down for about 15 minutes.

No one was injured during the incident.
