OKLAHOMA CITY -

Everyone is invited to one of the biggest Christmas dinners around. On Tuesday, volunteers roasted turkeys and gathered gifts for the Red Andrews Christmas dinner.

The meal is free, and kids get gifts and photos with Santa.

Organizers plan to serve 5,500 people.

"We just want to make sure everyone has the same opportunity to get the same Christmas dinner and same experience that everyone else does in the community," Gary Goldman said.

The Red Andrews Christmas Dinner is served from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Christmas Day. It's at the Cox Convention Center.

The meal is free, but parking is $3 at the convention center parking garage.
