A woman from Dustin, Oklahoma, who crashed her car into a tree near Weleetka, has died at the hospital Friday night.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to the crash at 12:38 p.m. Friday on State Highway 84, about four miles east of Weleetka.

A 2011 Lincoln Town Car driven by 81-year-old Corrine McLaud was westbound on State Highway 84, when it ran off the roadway to the right and struck a tree.

McLaud was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition, suffering from head injuries. She was later pronounced dead at about 6 p.m. Friday.
