Suspect Arrested In Woman's Shooting Death In Northwest OKC

Police have arrested a man who is accused of shooting and killing a woman in northwest Oklahoma City Saturday night.

Officers responded to the shooting at the Quail Creek apartment complex, located at 11133 Springhollow Rd., near Lake Hefner Parkway. A woman was found dead at her apartment.

Police arrested 47-year-old James William Wood in another city. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail Sunday morning on one count of first-degree murder.

The case is still under investigation.
