My 2 Cents: Affordable Care 'Success Story'

The White House has to be furious, certainly very embarrassed by the latest Affordable Care Act "success story."

The President stood in the Rose Garden last month and shared a heartfelt letter from a single mom in Washington State with a son who has ADHD.

He read her letter aloud about how she'd been uninsured for years, but thanks to Obamacare she got insurance she could afford and her stress had been lifted.

Unfortunately, since then the woman has been notified by the state of Washington that they miscalculated her plan and her price for insurance was actually going up more than 50 percent higher than what she was quoted, then they contacted her again and gave her an even higher quote, which she can't afford at all.

Now she's still uninsured plus she'll have to pay an ObamaCare fine for being uninsured.

She blames the Washington State insurance exchange, not President Obama, and has vented her anger on Facebook.

Two things are clear to me, that single mothers and others in her position need help getting insurance, and the ACA doesn't appear to be the answer.
