OKLAHOMA CITY - That chill in the air isn't necessarily another cold front. Just in time for holiday season, the Devon Ice Rink is now open at the Myriad Botanical Gardens.

It's part of Oklahoma City's "Downtown in December" celebration. And it's now open seven days a week.

"We are so pleased and excited to embark on our third skating season at the Gardens," said Maureen Heffernan, executive director of the Myriad Gardens Foundation. "It's a great activity for families, and it's something people can enjoy all winter, and we appreciate Devon Energy for making it possible. It's a fun way for kids with cabin fever to let off a little steam, it's fun for out of town guests and of course we can't think of a lovelier location!"

The rink hosts Rock 'n' Skate with a live D-J every Friday night.

Food and drink will be served outdoors at the rink throughout the season. And beginning in December, you can dine indoors at the new Park House restaurant for lunch or dinner every day of the week.
