OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police were involved Friday morning in a pursuit on the southwest side of the city.

The chase began near S.W. 104th Street and Western around 9 a.m. Friday when a suspect in a tried to evade police.

The pursuit ended a few minutes later near Interstate 240 and Shields when the suspect crashed. The suspect jumped out of the car and ran.

A witness says the suspect ran into an Enterprise Rent-A-Car store down the street, where police apprehended him.

The suspect's name has not been released. It's not known what started the chase.
