Four vehicles were involved in a fatal collision near 61st Street between Peoria and Lewis Avenues on Thursday morning.

Tulsa police said a Dodge Ram pickup was eastbound in westbound lanes on 61st Street and crashed head on into a U.S. Postal Service vehicle. The truck spun out and hit a white service van and another car, police said.

USPS worker John McCorkel II, 40, died at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge truck was Matthew Lloyd Lynch, 22. TPD says it is waiting on blood test results for Lynch.

One person suffered serious injuries in the wreck and two others were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
