OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police have captured a suspect accused of shooting his roommate during a fight in southwest Oklahoma City near S.W. 31st Street and Robinson.

Police say two roommates were fighting just before noon Tuesday. One man was trying to force the other to leave when the suspect grabbed a shotgun and shot the victim in the leg.

The victim was rushed to OU Medical Center. His condition is not known, but police say the wound was not life-threatening.

Police say the shooter dropped the shotgun and left the scene. He was captured around 12:30 p.m.

Just after the shooting, Santa Fe South High School was put on lockdown while officers searched the area. Police also briefly shut down Robinson between S.W. 29th Street and S.W. 31st Street.
