Police Investigating After Body Discovered In South Norman Home

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Police are investigating the death of a Norman woman, found dead inside a home on the south side of the city, Wednesday evening.

Norman Police responded to the home, located at 3208 Ridgecrest Court, to conduct a premises check, following up a call from a concerned resident reporting the front door to the home open.

When officers arrived they discovered the body of 27-year-old Owachige Elice Osceola. Investigators have not said how they found the body, but they have ruled the death as ‘suspicious'.

Norman Investigators are working with the State Medical Examiner's office on this case. The ME's office will ultimately determine the cause of death.

No other information has been released at this time.
