Pilot Crash Lands Plane In Weatherford After Engine Fails

A pilot crash lands his small plane in a baseball field after engine failure.

Emergency crews responded to the crashed Cessna 205 in Weatherford just before noon at Raider Park which is one mile north of Davis Avenue and Lyle Road.

Investigators say the pilot was enroute to Weatherford from Cheyenne, Wyoming when he lost engine power five miles from the airport and crash landed his plane in a baseball field. The pilot is okay. No other passengers were on board.

The FAA is investigating.
