The crash occurred in the center median of the interstate, just west of the Choctaw Rd. Exit.

First responders say two people were injured in the crash, but say their injuries are not life-threatening.

The crash has caused traffic on eastbound I-40 to be backed up for approximately three miles. It has also congested traffic on I-240, merging into eastbound I-40, for two miles.
