KAY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A 25-year-old man from Midwest City died over the holiday weekend while swimming in northern Oklahoma.

The Department of Public Safety says Michael Eugene Glover was swimming Sunday with his girlfriend and her family member in Kaw Lake in Kay County. Just after 6 p.m., Glover went under the water and never resurfaced.

About two hours later, Glover's body was found in about 10 feet of water, in the same area where he went under. His body was taken to a funeral home in Newkirk.
