Emergency crews are responding to the scene of a man trapped under some equipment at a trucking company in southwest Oklahoma City, Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a man trapped under some equipment at a trucking company in southwest Oklahoma City, Friday afternoon.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to the scene at Stevens Trucking, located at 6600 SW 29th St.

Rescuers say a truck axle fell on top of the man's leg, pinning him to the floor. Responders had to call in a heavy rescue rig to assist in freeing the man.

Emergency crews say the man's injuries are not life threatening, but the damage to his leg is severe. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. His identity has not been released.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
