A driver and her three passengers were injured after their vehicle crashed into a crash attenuator in Wagoner County Friday night.
It happened at 10:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Creek Turnpike, just north of 81st Street South in Wagoner County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 46-year-old Tina Harp of Stigler, Oklahoma, was southbound on the turnpike when it swerved to take the service road to the Muskogee Turnpike. The car then struck the crash attenuator.
Harp was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with head and trunk external injuries. She was treated and released.
There were three passengers in the vehicle. Two of them were treated and released from the hospital. And one of them was admitted into the hospital in stable condition, suffering from head, arm and leg injuries.
Troopers listed the condition of the driver as "apparently normal" in the collision report. The cause of the collision is listed as "inattention- distracted by passenger in vehicle."
