Public Meetings To Discuss Oklahoma Passenger Rail Service Begin This Week

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has three scheduled meetings this week to get public input on the estimated $2 billion rail plan.

The discussion over a passenger rail connecting Tulsa and Oklahoma City continues this week.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has three scheduled meetings this week to get public input on the estimated $2 billion rail plan.

The first is Tuesday night at Tulsa Community College Metro Campus on Boston Ave.

The second is Wednesday night in Stroud at the high school.

A third meeting will take place Thursday night in Oklahoma City.

Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett said he supports the passenger rail.
