Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a bank robbery in southwest Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.
According to the FBI, it happened at the Bank of the West, located at S.W. 89th and Penn.
At about 3:50 p.m. a man walked into the bank and approached the teller counter. He gave the teller a note demanding money.
According to the FBI, the man told the teller he was armed and he was not alone. However, a weapon was never seen during the incident.
The teller complied with the suspect's request and placed an undisclosed amount of money in a bank envelope.
The suspect then left the bank with the money and was last seen running across the street, heading north.
FBI agents believe this is the same suspect who robbed a bank on Monday afternoon.
FBI released the following description of the suspect,
A white male (dark complexion), late 40's, 5'8", medium build, red-tinted hair, dark sunglasses with silver frames, wearing a light blue or gray long sleeve dress shirt and dark pants.
No one was injured during the incident.
This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is requested to call the Oklahoma City FBI Office at (405)290-7770 (24 hour number).
